Moved-- Again

Hello all. Just a quick post to let you know that dad was moved from ICU this afternoon to a regular room on the 6th floor where the neuro nurse teams are located. He has had an OK day-- still having some headaches-- but he's been able to eat a bit throughout the day. We aren't sure if the headaches are the result of the surgery or not, so please be in prayer that the headaches will subside.

I'll post more when we have it, but please continue to be in prayer for strength for dad and mom, both, as mom is staying at the hospital tonight with him.

Thanks for your continued prayers and support!

  1. I'm so happy that the surgery went well, although if you remember, I knew it would!! I'll continue praying for relief from pain and continued overall improvement, as well as complete recovery from cancer. I'll also pray for comfort and peace for your whole family and will send a special Christmas prayer for you all. Monsie and Donnie

  2. Jon,

Please tell Norman and Brenda that they continue to constantly be in our prayers. We're glad the surgery went well and we'll pray for the headaches to diminish. Dusty and Jan

  3. We continue to wait and watch and pray -- for complete health and healing and strength, and for peace of mind, and a sense of God's sometimes silent but abiding presence in all of these circumstances.
And we continue to be enormously in your debt, Jon, for sharing your family's journey with us, and enabling us to walk with you in a real, but quiet and unseen way.
    with HIS love,
    Harvey

  4. Dr. B has a word for us here. Whenever he officiated at a marriage, his word to the newly-married couple was that the joys each of them shared were joys multiplied, and the sorrows they shared were sorrows divided.
Thank you for allowing us to divide this anxious time with you, and for allowing each of us to carry a small piece of the fear and anxiety away with us, so that you don't have to carry it all.
    with HIS love,
    Harvey

  5. Jon and all of the Parks family each day I thank God for his strength that he gives us in the things He puts us through. Where two or more are gathered togeather in His name there He will be with them. Norman will make a complete recovery and God's work will go on and the family, friends, and church will become closer to Him and each other because of this. Gods speed ! Gal2:20 Daryl Silver
